Wise Baptist Church of Wise, North Carolina is seeking a full-time Pastor, gifted both as a communicator (preacher and teacher) and leader who will help our congregation succeed in the next season of ministry.   • Backpack Project - WMU put the finishing touches on the 92 packpacks headed to the Appalachian region of America. We are grateful to the entire congregation for faithfully supporting this mission. A special thanks to Mike McCray for delivering these packs to their first leg of the trip in Rocky Mount.

  • Thanksgiving cards - There are 2 clipboards on the Usher Table for the congregation to provide the names and addresses of anyone who needs a Thanksgiving card. There are also cards to be signed by the church. This is a church-wide WMU project.

  • Thanksgiving service - Wise Baptist Church and Jerusalem United Methodist Church will come together for a joint Thanksgiving Service on the evening of Sunday, November 20. Wise Baptist will host. Please bring refreshments for a Social following the service.

  • Fellowship - December 6 at 6:30pm. Save the date for a church-wide fellowship with the WMU and Brotherhood. Everyone is invited to come bring snacks to share.

  • Mile of Pennies - It's time for our Mile of Pennies Offering for the Baptist Children's Homes. There is a jar on the ushers table for your offering. Our church goal is to go 2 miles. We will continue this offering for the remainder of 2022.

  • Blessings Box - The Missions Committee placed 2 blessing boxes in the church for collecting essentials for those in need in our community. Church members and friends can bring non-perishable food items to the church and place them in the boxes provided. You can also support this ministry by making a financial contribution to the church with "Blessings Box" written in the memo line.
