• Each month we will gather on the 2nd Thursday at 6:30 for intercessory prayer and bible study and on the 3rd Tuesday of each month we will have a time of pray as the church continues in a time of renewal.

• Deacon of the Month - For September it is Gary Paynter (252-438-0574) and Mike McCray (919-604-3081)
  Revival - Zion Methodist Church is having revva services every Sunday evening in September with various speakers. The service begins at 7PM each Sunday night. Everyone is invited.

• Homecoming Services - Homecoming Services will be held on Sunday October 11th, 2026. Pastor Jonathon Shattuck will be our guest speaker. His theme will be on "Thus Far" 1 Samuel 7:12.

• Appalachian Backpack- There are needed items in the Fellowship Hall on the clipboards by the sign. Please check out and pray about what meeting this need for this outreach project. Thank you!

• Blessings Box - The Blessings Box is up and filled with groceries in front if the Hawtree Volunteer Fire Department in Wise. You can continue to support this mission by making a financial contribution to the church with "Blessings Box" written in the memo line. You may also bring non-perishable food items and place them in the designated boxes. Thank you for your continued support. 

Sunday October 11th 2026 we will have Homecoming at Wise Baptist Church. Pastor Jonathon Shattuck will be back in our pulpit to bring our message.

His theme will be on "Thus Far The Lord Has Helped Us." 1 Samuel 7:12

Through the scripture, we will have the opportunity to look back with gratitude at the people, prayers, sacrifices, and ways God has been faithful through the years. 

We will have a covered dish meal following the service so bring your favorite dish or dishes to share!
