• Each month we will gather on the 2nd Thursday at 6:30 for intercessory prayer and bible study and on the 3rd Tuesday of each month we will have a time of pray as the church continues in a time of renewal.

• Free Giveaway - This is sponsored by the WMU and will be held on August 15th from 9AM - 12:00 noon. 

• Appalachian Backpacks - The WMU is sponsoring the Appalachian Backpack Mission Project which begins this Sunday, May 3rd. There is a sign up sheet in the Fellowship Hall which has the items needed. Let's put a smile on someone's face and joy in their heart when they receive these backpacks. They can see and feel Jesus through our giving, even if it is a small donation. Let's be the hands and feet of Jesus!

• Blessings Box - The Blessings Box is up and filled with groceries in front if the Hawtree Volunteer Fire Department in Wise. You can continue to support this mission by making a financial contribution to the church with "Blessings Box" written in the memo line. You may also bring non-perishable food items and place them in the designated boxes. Thank you for your continued support. 

Please join us as we will have the honor of ordaining our 2 newest Deacons on July 26th at our 11 o'clock service. 

Rev. Ricky Lamm will be filling the pulpit and we will be ordaining Danielle Edgerton & Calvin Paynter. Come celebrate with them & see how God moves in their lives.

We will also have a covered dish meal after service so please bring your favorite dish to share with everyone!

August 15th from 9AM - 12:00 Noon. We are now collecting good used items such as clothes, shoes, toys, games, household items, and holiday decorations. Please place all items except clothing into the front shed with the sliding door. The clothing goes on the other side of the shed. Thank you ahead of time for all your donations!

We will also need your help to sort through all the donations, set-up, and of course to serve our community! More dates for that to come!

• Pastor Bobby Harrell will begin being our interim pastor beginning in December. He and his wife, Debbie are very excited to be serving here and we are so excited they will be here leading us, praying with us, worshiping with us, and building relationships with our church family and community.
